Matt Steffanina & Dana Alexa Teaching Reel 2011

Matt Steffanina began dancing in Virginia where he was the head choreographer of the VA based dance crew, Xtasee. He relocated to Los Angeles in 2010 after spending seven years working as a dancer and teacher on the east coast. After moving to LA, Matt signed with Clear Talent Group and began working in the commercial industry dancing for artists such as Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Jermaine Jackson, Snoop Dogg, DJ Tiesto, and Busta Rhymes. In the past year, Matt has performed on So You Think You Can Dance, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and under the direction of Shane Sparks on Eva’s 2011 promo tour. Matt teaches weekly at IDA in Hollywood as well as teaching workshops and master classes around the country.

Dana Alexa was born in Brooklyn NY and started her dance career at 2 years old. Dana became an instructor at the age of 12 and has been teaching all over the country ever since. Dana works with her students to build confidence, style and instill a love of dance. She has taught all ages and levels for HS and college dance teams, studios, pro teams, semi-pro teams and more. Dana’s went on to represent NYC as a Knicks City Dancer before dancing with recording artist Kat Deluna on her world promo tour. In addition, Dana became Kat’s choreographer and choreographed all of her stage shows and two music videos. Dana is currently working with her all female crew VENOM (as Seen on CBS’s hit show Live to Dance) and her convention series Twisted City.
